The U.K. Licensing Awards has unveiled the finalists for several of its key categories.

The U.K. Licensing Awards has unveiled the finalists for several of its key categories.

The annual U.K. Licensing Awards will take place at The Grosvenor House Hotel in London, Sept. 13.

The Best Licensed Property finalists are:

  • Best Preschool Licensed Property (ages 0-5): “Blaze and the Monster Machines,” “Fireman Sam,” The Gruffalo, “In the Night Garden,” “PAW Patrol,” “Peppa Pig,” “Teletubbies,” “Thomas & Friends” and The Very Hungry Caterpillar.

  • Best Children’s or Tween Licensed Property (ages 5-12): Angry Birds, “Danger Mouse,” “Minecraft,” “My Little Pony,” Pokémon, Shopkins, “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles” and “Thunderbirds Are Go.”

  • Best Teen or Adult Licensed Property: “Adventure Time,” Emoji, “Game of Thrones,” “Great British Bake Off,” Smiley and WWE.

  • Best Film Licensed Property: Batman v Superman, The BFG, Captain America: Civil War, Finding Dory, Frozen, Minions and Star Wars: The Force Awakens.

  • Best Music or Celebrity Licensed Property: 5S0S, The Beatles, Jamie Oliver, Justin Bieber, LonDunn (Jourdan Dunn), Matthew Williamson and One Direction.

  • Best Sports Licensed Property: Arsenal Football Club, Chelsea FC, England Rugby, The Football Association, Liverpool Football Club, Manchester City Football Club, NFL and Tottenham Hotspur Football Club.

  • The Classic Licensed Property Award: “Doctor Who,” Me to You, Moomins, Mr. Men and Little Miss, Paddington Bear, Peter Rabbit, “Power Rangers,” Roald Dahl, “Sesame Street,” “The Simpsons,” “SpongeBob SquarePants” and Winnie the Pooh.

The Product category finalists are:

  • Best Licensed Toy or Game: “My Little Pony” role play from HTI, “Paw Patrol” range from Spin Master, “Peppa” baby range from Rainbow Designs, Shopkins play sets from Flair, Star Wars POP! vinyl figures from Underground Toys and Star Wars remote control inflatables from Bladez.

The Retail Award finalists are:

  • Best Preschool Retailer of Licensed Products (ages 0-5): Argos, Asda, Mothercare, Shop Direct, Smyths and Tesco.

  • Best Kid Retailer of Licensed Products (ages 6-16): Argos, Next, Primark, Sainsbury’s, Smyths and Tesco.

  • Best Retailer of Adult Licensed Products: Asda, Forbidden Planet, HMV, Next, Primark and Tesco.

  • The Radar Award: Card Factory, M&Co, Matalan, Paperchase, Poundland and Uniqlo.

The Best Licensed Marketing Communications Award finalists are:

  • Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice with Compare the Market;

  • The Gruffalo Yorkshire Tree campaign with Yorkshire Tea;

  • Meet the Minions with Soreen;

  • “Peppa Pig’s” Splashathon with Tommy’s;

  • Roald Dahl’s Messy Adventure with Persil; and
