Sony Pictures Motion Picture Group has named Stephanie Cohen as the company’s new senior vice president of national promotions.

Sony Pictures Motion Picture Group has named Stephanie Cohen as the company’s new senior vice president of national promotions.

In this newly created role, Cohen will be responsible for developing national promotion strategies and ensuring that they are embedded throughout each film’s theatrical marketing campaign.

Prior to joining Sony Pictures, Cohen served as director of global partnership and promotions at Walt Disney Studios. She also served as vice president of global partnerships at Marvel Studios and held earlier roles at Davie Brown Entertainment and Universal Studios.

“Stephanie is the perfect addition to our team as we look to expand opportunities to connect top global brands with our films,” says Jeffrey Godsick, executive vice president, worldwide partnerships, Sony Pictures. “I know she will drive innovative and creative partnerships that have the power to play a key role in the marketing of a movie.”
