Chief executive officer Richie Adjmi has announced the creation of a new, wholly owned venture, Essential Brands.
The new company will manufacture and license global brands for consumer products, with plans to dive deeper into accessories and home décor.
"I'm excited about Essential Brands–this venture gives me the opportunity to strategically leverage and grow multiple aspects of our business," says Richie Adjmi. "Based in New York City, Essential Brands already boasts a built-in portfolio of established brands, as well as key relationships with best-in-class merchants. Even more, is the huge potential for continued success and expansion of the Flora Nikrooz brand at major retailers and with its launch of the new website. The FN brand, positioned under the Essential Brands umbrella, is a perfect fit not only for the company, but for my vision of how big the brand could be.”
Richie Adjmi boasts more than 30 years of experience and has partnered with brands and retailers, nationwide and internationally, including Hanes, Hello Kitty, Disney, Martha Stewart, Paul Frank and more.
