Ravensburger Appoints Disney Lorcana (TCG) Category and Sales Manager for the U.K.
Ben Lovell will oversee the imminent launch of Disney Lorcana later this month.

Ravensburger UK has appointed Ben Lovell as the dedicated category and sales manager for its trading card game (TCG) business in the U.K. Lovell will oversee the imminent launch of Disney Lorcana at hobby stores on Aug. 18, followed by its global unveiling on Sept. 1. Ravensburger revealed gameplay details for Disney Lorcana to License Global in April.
Lovell joins Ravensburger from tournamentcenter, where he was organized play manager since 2019. With over eight years of experience in the TCG sector, Lovell has worked across hobby stores and events before expanding his knowledge into organized play. Lovell is also an enthusiastic gaming fan and attended events and championships across various TCG IPs to gain insight into the growing sector.
In this newly created role, Lovell will secure and build long-term relationships with Disney Lorcana’s strategically managed retail partnerships. He is tasked with expanding Ravensburger’s TCG-focused retail partners and ensuring that Disney Lorcana has strong visibility across all sectors, including specialist and hobby stores, convenience, grocery stores and key account retailers. His role with these partners will include an ongoing focus on expanding and maintaining the robust, organized play program, ensuring they have the right product range for their retail needs and working alongside them to deliver a premium and dedicated TCG retail experience, including retailer and marketing toolkits.
In addition to his retail responsibilities, Lovell will be working to foster a community of U.K. Disney Lorcana fans and organizing B2B events across the U.K.
