LIMA Names Awards Nominees
LIMA has announced a list of 73 nominees for the 2013 International Licensing Excellence Awards.

The International Licensing Industry Merchandisers' Association has announced a list of 73 nominees for the 2013 LIMA International Licensing Excellence Awards.
Winners will be determined by a vote of the LIMA membership, set to begin April 15, and will be announced at the LIMA Opening Night Awards Ceremony on June 18 at the Licensing Expo in Las Vegas, Nev.
This year’s nominees were selected from 237 entries to compete in 15 different categories including Art or Design; Character or Toy Brand; Corporate Brand; Sports; and Film, Television, Celebrity or Entertainment.
Awards will be given for the Best Licensed Promotion, Retailer of the Year and Overall Best Licensed Program.
The nominees for best overall program of 2012 are:
Dena, Dena Designs
HGTV Home, HGTV Home/Beanstalk
The Hunger Games, Lionsgate/Striker Entertainment
Marvel’s The Avengers, The Walt Disney Company/Marvel Entertainment
Monster High, Mattel.
PGA Tour, PGA Tour/IMG Sports Licensing
Skylanders, Activision Publishing
