i-Star Entertainment has signed on to create plush, pillows and light-up novelty toys featuring teen band One Direction, in a deal brokered by Global Merchandising Services.

i-Star’s products will be available at major retailers in the U.S. beginning this fall, as well as select retailers around the globe.

"We have put together a very strong and focused line that truly captures the personalities of the 1D band members. We anticipate keeping up with the tremendous demand and adding new and fresh styles and looks," says George Grillo, executive vice president, i-Star Entertainment. 

The line of 1D plush will range from stuffed animals to pillows featuring individual band members and the band as a whole.
