Disney has tapped Rebecca Campbell, Diego Lerner and Uday Shankar as its three main international chiefs following the company’s deal with 21st Century Fox.
December 18, 2018

On the condition that the deal closes, Campbell will oversee Europe, the Middle East and Africa–and will add Russia and the CIS region to her portfolio, according to Variety. Campbell, who is a veteran at Disney, moved to London in 2017 to oversee the EMEA region once Lerner relocated to his native Argentina to manage Latin America.
Under the new structure, Lerner will continue to oversee Latina America with oversight of the entire region.
Shankar, who is currently president of Fox Asia, will serve as president of Disney Asia Pacific and chairman of Star and Disney India, according to Variety.
All three executives will report to Kevin Mayer, chairman of The Walt Disney Company’s Direct-to-Consumer and International division.
“Once the acquisition is complete, all three regions will be led by exceptional, highly experienced executives who will combine the ‘best of the best’ talent from both organizations,” says Mayer. “This new structure and the outstanding leadership team we’ve put in place are clear demonstrations of our strong commitment to integrating operations and thoughtfully executing our strategic priorities around the globe.”
