The Walt Disney Company recently acquired Tapulous, a music game developer for the iPad, iPhone and iPod touch. In the deal, Tapulous will operate as a wholly owned subsidiary of Walt Disney, reporting into Disney Interactive Media Group.

The acquisition will add to the growth already seen within the DIMG, including the more than 1 million downloads of Disney's Alice in Wonderland Lite, Fairies Fly Lite and JellyCar 2.
