The deal will see CPLG and Pullman collaborate on the overall management and operations of the company, leveraging CPLG’s international experience and Pullman’s local presence. Pullman will retain its existing staff in Moscow and will look to expand its brand portfolio which includes Nickelodeon, Paramount, ROI Visual and Emoji in Russia, CIS and the Baltics.

The new venture will be known as CPLG Pullman and will also represent specific properties in the CPLG portfolio including Archie Comics and Line Friends. Further representation will be announced soon.

Pullman Licensing is owned by Igor Kuleshov, president and owner of Gulliver Holdings, a noted Russian toy and clothing manufacturer and distributor.

"CPLG’s move into Russia is a logical next step and helps consolidate our expansion plans across the region, bringing further scale to our existing operations,” says Peter Byrne, chief executive officer, CPLG.” We are very excited to be creating this new venture with Pullman, who is a strong established player in the market, to take the business to new heights".

The transaction is set to be completed by Oct.30.
