American Greetings Debuts Talking Heads Collection

Larry the Cable Guy, Family Guy and others are appearing on American Greetings' new Talking Heads greeting cards collection.

The line of 27 cards features a face where consumers can pull down on the character's chin to hear a funny or special occasion-related sound bite. Licenses include My Name is Earl, Larry the Cable Guy, South Park and The Family Guy. Other characters include Mona Lisa, Abraham Lincoln, the Statue of Liberty, dogs, cats, babies and more.

"Consumers love to find new ways to share a laugh and with Talking Heads they have a quirky way to celebrate any sense of humor," says Carol Miller, executive director of new product categories at American Greetings. "The cards are a lot of fun, and we think shoppers will enjoy picking them out just as much as sending them."

The line is available at drug chains, grocery stores and supercenters nationwide, as well as at American Greetings and Carlton Cards retail stores.
