McDonald’s Features Skylanders

Activision Publishing launched its first-ever partnership with McDonald’s Friday, with the release of Skylanders Giants Happy Meals in North America.

The the inaugural Skylanders Giants Happy Meal program will run through May 2 and will roll out in other countries later this year.

Inspired by the award-winning video game and action figure toy line, each Happy Meal features one of nine Skylanders Giants toys as well as a coupon for $10 off the Skylanders Giants starter pack.

Among the characters included are Spyro, Gill Grunt, Drobot, Chop Chop, Ignitor, Jet-Vac, Tree Rex, Crusher and Kaos.

“The Skylanders Giants Happy Meal illustrates how strong the Skylanders Spyro’s Adventure and Skylanders Giants brands have become in just 18 months,” says Tim Ellis, chief marketing officer, Activision Publishing.
