Dan Tana's Expands into Licensing (Exclusive)

Historic Los Angeles eatery grows with worldwide licensing program.

Dan Tana’s, a landmark Italian restaurant in West Hollywood, Calif., has tapped Prominent Brand + Talent to develop its brand through a worldwide licensing program and serve as its licensing agency.

Through the agreement, Prominent Brand + Talent will develop an exclusive line of branded products for Dan Tana’s–including sauces, pastas, olive oil, vinegars, fresh prepared and frozen foods, wine, spirits and more. A coffee table book showcasing Dan Tana’s first 50 years and classic recipes is also scheduled to be published.

The agency will also identify new locations around the world, with an initial focus in Asia and Europe, in which to license new restaurants.

Founded by Yugoslavian immigrant Dan Tana in 1964, Dan Tana’s is a classic Italian restaurant that has welcomed generations of Hollywood stars including Frank Sinatra, Michael Douglas, Adam Levine, Cameron Diaz, Jerry West, Jay Leno, Elizabeth Taylor, Drew Barrymore, George Clooney, Chris Rock, Cindy Crawford and Magic Johnson, among many others.
