Finsbury and Diageo are extending their partnership by adding a Baileys Strawberries and Cream Celebration Cake to the range of treats already in the market.

Brokered by Beanstalk, the celebration cake follows the line of cookies and Easter eggs of the same flavor as a new product for the summer months. The cake, created and produced by Finsbury Food Group, is on sale starting May and brings together strawberry flavored sponge cake with Baileys Strawberries and Cream flavor frosting and dried strawberry pieces.

“Our Baileys range goes from strength-to-strength as we’ve worked hard to create delicious yet innovative cakes that deliver something different to the cake fixture,” says Jack Cook-Broussine, brand manager, Finsbury Food Group. “This is the first summer-focused product for us for the Baileys range and we already see huge opportunities for us to continue to innovate around the Baileys range and add some exciting, additional SKUs.”

Baileys launched its limited-edition Strawberries and Cream liqueur drink in summer 2018, which became one of the best-selling drinks of the season.

“We have quickly seen that fresh strawberry flavorings mixed with our well-loved creamy liqueur are a firm favorite in the summer months,” says Declan Hassett, senior licensing manager, Diageo. “We want to ensure that we’re giving the many Baileys lovers the chance to enjoy this delicious flavor combination. We have already enjoyed great success with Finsbury and our range.”
