Top Speakers Join NYC Licensing Summit

An additional seven speakers have been confirmed for the first annual NYC Summit: The Business of Brand Licensing: Gaye Dean, group manager of Target Stores, and Benjamin Grubbs, global head of top creators at YouTube.

Target, YouTube and Hasbro among the companies now slated to present.

An additional eight speakers have been confirmed for the first annual NYC Summit: The Business of Brand Licensing: Gaye Dean, group manager of Target Stores; Benjamin Grubbs, global head of top creators at YouTube; and Simon Waters, general manager and senior vice president, entertainment and licensing, Hasbro.

Other new additions include Eric Beder, managing director at the investment firm Wunderlich Securities and Cindy Levitt, senior vice president of merchandising and marketing at Hot Topic.

Also newly announced is the Licensing Agents Forum, which will include insights and case studies on the value of corporate brand licensing from Adina Avery-Grossman, partner, Brandgenuity; Debra Joester, president, The Joester Loria Group; and Stu Seltzer, president, The Seltzer Licensing Group.

PLUS Sal Larocca of the National Basketball Association and Steve Scebelo of National Football League Players Inc. will participate in a special session titled "Sports Licensing: Building a Global Business" that will be moderated by LIMA's Marty Brochstein. GET MORE DETAILS HERE.

These new additions join other previously announced presenters including Dow Famulak, president and chief operating officer, Global Brands Group; Jim Fielding, global head of consumer products and retail, DreamWorks Animation and AwesomenessTV; Pam Kaufman, chief marketing officer and president, consumer products, Nickelodeon; Jamie Salter, chairman and chief executive officer, Authentic Brands Group; Michael Stone, chairman, Beanstalk; Henry Stupp, chief executive officer, Cherokee Global Brands Group and many more.

The NYC Licensing Summit will take place March 1-2 at the New York Marriott Downtown in New York City. Discounted early bird registration rates will end on Jan. 31 and special room rates at the Marriott are available in limited quantities through Feb. 8.
