Genius Brands Names CFO

Genius Brands International has named Rebecca Hershinger as its chief financial officer.

In her new role, she will be responsible for all of the company’s corporate finance, accounting and financial reporting functions. She will also play an active role with the company’s investor relations and corporate development initiatives.

Hershinger began working with Genius Brands in 2014 through CFO Advisory Services, a corporation she founded that provided accounting and business advisory services. She then served as the company’s chief financial officer from October 2014 to June 2015. According to Genius Brands, her reappointment and relocation to Genius Brands’ headquarters highlights the growth the company anticipates in 2016 and beyond.
