Twentieth Century Fox Film has appointed Beth Goss to the newly created position of chief brand officer for the studio.

In her new role, Goss will manage the Fox film brands and will aim to develop a strong narrative around each property that will create opportunities for deeper, ongoing fan engagement. She will also collaborate with the studio’s key divisions to help manage its signature franchises, brands and event properties to optimize the marketing and distribution windows and outlets on a global basis.

Prior to joining Fox, Goss served as a consultant to the studio for the last several months. She also previously founded and led 8.Eight Entertainment, a content distribution consultancy firm, and served as the executive vice president of Cartoon Network/Adult Swim. She has also held positions with NBCUniversal and PolyGram Filmed Entertainment.

“We are thrilled to have Beth onboard to help create this exciting new role at our company,” says Stacey Snider, chairman and chief executive officer, Twentieth Century Fox Film. “She is an experienced global entertainment executive, who, I know, will have great success working with our stakeholders, creative-rights holders, filmmakers and executives throughout the company to maximize the potential of our core properties.”
