The Brand Liaison has hired two new licensing executives–Laurie Smith and Katey Gabrielson–to assist with the agency’s continued expansion.

Smith will now lead the company’s special projects. Prior to joining The Brand Liaison, she spent 14 years spearheading the licensing and product marketing for Playboy Enterprises. She also held positions with Nickelodeon and Major League Baseball. Smith also currently heads an independent strategic marketing agency specializing in licensing and branding.

Gabrielson will now serve as a member of the company’s senior management team and lead on new business initiatives. Prior to joining the agency, she held senior management positions with Promient Brand + Talent, Evolution, Compass Marketing and Toy Island, a division of Li and Fung.
