The French Federation of Basketball has secured a three-year deal with Warner Bros. Consumer Products to create a marketing and commercial program based on the Looney Tunes Active! initiative.

The deal with the basketball federation includes an art program, a TV show with 50 mini episodes, retail promotions and marketing campaigns. The campaign will launch during the French final cup at Paris Bercy Omnisport palace on May 17.

"Youth activities are a priority for the FFBB," says Raymond Bauriaud, marketing director for FFBB. "The youth program we are working on with WBCP will benefit from such prestigious and well-known characters. The French national team and a cross-licensing program is also part of the agreement."
