Anthony Vaccarello has chosen to pay tribute to the works of Robert Mapplethorpe through an exhibition of original works displayed in the Saint Laurent Rive Droite stores in Paris and Los Angeles in collaboration with the Robert Mapplethorpe Foundation. Artestar facilitated the deal. 

Saint Laurent Rive Droite Paris and Los Angeles will host an exclusive selection of original artworks by Robert Mapplethorpe. The exhibitions will include silver gelatin photographs and Polaroids of still life, portraits and nudes, courtesy of Thaddaeus Ropac Gallery in Paris and Morán Morán Gallery in Los Angeles. In connection with the exhibitions, Anthony Vaccarello has designed a lifestyle collection in collaboration with the Robert Mapplethorpe Foundation. 

This collection includes bags, leather goods, clothing, porcelain and pillows and is set to release in spring 2022.
