Filled with animal illustrations, the portfolio of Jimbobart is gaining momentum in the consumer market through new collaborative initiatives. Growing over the past two years, Jimbobart collections have already proven a hit for the 2021 holiday season and will be appearing in new forms throughout this year.
Working with sub-agents worldwide, master-agent for Jimbobart, The Point.1888, has confirmed that – after exhibiting at Top Drawer and showcasing at the British Wildlife Collection – the Jimbobart brand will be forming an exhibition with a percentage of proceeds going to the Sussex Wildlife Trust. The collection will then be stocked by retailers across the U.K.
International licensing deals complement the new exposure for the brand for tabletop, textiles and barware via Pure Tabletop and an iCanvas print deal in North America. Elite Tins will also continue its partnership by bringing cake, sandwich and biscuit tins to retail.
“It’s great to see the momentum building up in the licensing program with activity happening worldwide and more projects in the pipeline,” says James Ward, founder, Jimbobart. “I’m so happy to share my love of nature and wildlife with a growing audience. It’s so lovely to hear stories from happy customers about their relationships with the animals and characters featured in my illustrations.”
“This is such an exciting time for Jimbobart and James,” says Janine Richmond, head, brand, The Point.1888. “We’ve seen a real surge of interest thanks to the fun and quirky illustrations that bring a smile to your face whenever you see them. Bringing on two new sub-agents and new partners shows the cross-territory appeal of the brand and helps to grow the program in an authentic and sustainable way. Bring on ‘22!”
