MoMA Shares Resources for Families in Quarantine

As companies continue to adjust to their new normal, Robin Sayetta from MoMA shares her tips for staying on track while working remotely.

Businesses all over the globe have been impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. Though many things are uncertain for the time being, one thing is abundantly clear for everyone: if you are able to work from home, you are working from home.

Robin Sayetta of MoMA has adopted new strategies to keep herself and her employees safe and engaged during these uncertain times.

Sayetta is currently working from home with her husband and two teen sons home, too. Sayetta’s biggest concern about the COVID-19 outbreak are the challenges faced by everyday people, including the challenge of caring for young children while working. That’s why she and her colleagues created resources to help.

“Our days are filled with conference calls guest starring babies, kids, pets, partners and a window into people's homes,” says Sayetta, associate director, licensing and partnerships, MoMA. “While MoMA is temporarily closed, our educators and curators posted some great art making activities for families online. There's also a Google Doc that includes some of their favorite drawing, collage, audio and movement activities inspired by artworks in MoMA’s collection.”
