Gilt Shops with Saks

Luxury retailer will feature the online retailer in its initial Manhattan location.

Saks Fifth Avenue Off 5th will feature the first-ever Gilt in-store shop when it officially opens its first location in New York City on March 3.

The partnership marks the e-tailer's entry into brick-and-mortar retail and will demonstrate the company’s plans to bring an all-channel shopping experience to Gilt customers.

The new Saks Off 5th store will occupy nearly 47,000-square-feet in Tower57 in midtown Manhattan at 57th Street and Lexington Avenue.

The Gilt in-store shop aims to replicate the exclusive access experience of the retailer's online shopping destination by featuring curated products­ including top trends and new offerings from weekly in-store sales, a video wall showcasing a calendar of upcoming sales and “shop the look” editorial content.

Gilt by Appointment will also be introduced in the upcoming months and will offer an in-person stylist and personal shopping services.

A second Saks Off 5th is expected to open in downtown Manhattan at One Liberty Plaza in fall 2017.
