Artist Basquiat Inspires Alice + Olivia Capsule

The late artist’s work will be featured on a host of apparel items including skirts, dresses, tops and more.

Fashion brand Alice + Olivia has partnered with Neo-expressionist artist Jean-Michel Basquiat, through the Basquiat Estate, for a capsule collection featuring the late artist’s work.

The 17-piece collection includes a variety of apparel, accessories such as leggings, skirts, dresses, crop tops, clutches, shirts, jeans, jackets and more.

The line will also support the Council of Fashion Designers of America’s efforts to promote young talent.

“Jean-Michel Basquiat is one of my favorite artists,” says Stacey Bendet, chief executive officer and creative director, Alice + Olivia. “This partnership is exciting for me as it is very reflective of my brand and our continued collaboration with artists. It is also wonderful to be able to raise funds for the CFDA and support their ongoing initiatives within our industry that develop new talent.” 

The new capsule collection is now available in stores and online.
