Kangaru has chosen Alita’s Brand Bar to build the global licensing program for the company.

Development is ongoing for Kangaru Brands to expand its product offerings in 2021 and 2022.

"Our licensing strategy adapts well-known brands into a variety of our product categories,” says Joe DiPalma, chief executive officer and founder, Kangaru. “Strong IP has tremendous value to us. We have our core in stationery, arts, activity and plush and we have the ability to manufacture almost anything."

Themed toy and stationery programs will focus on sweets and snacks, sports, consumer products and kid's entertainment. Kangaru owns brands including Scentimals, Scenticorns, Furzerts, Twixie and Shmellos.

"Kangaru is well positioned to innovate in the licensed landscape of the toy industry,” adds Alita Friedman, chief executive officer, Alita's Brand Bar. “They have a unique ability to add scent to their product lines and create unique offerings. The response by licensors has been terrific.”
