Chick-Fil-A is partnering with Diane Alber to include five titles from her Scribble book series for the 2022 kids’ meal book promotion. Her children’s books address social-emotional learning topics.
The five books chosen for the promotion are, “I’m Not Just a Scribble,” “Scribble Stones,” “Splatters,” “Snippets” and “Invisible Scribble.” The books will be available in more than 2,700 restaurants 47 states, Washington, D.C., Puerto Rico and Canada. The promotion was scheduled to start in July and run for one month. All the books will come with an activity featuring stickers for children to create their own characters in the back of the book.
“My passion is to create books that help children become the best they can be,” says Diane Alber, founder, National Scribble Day, celebrated annually on March 27 since 2019. “I strive to inspire children’s creativity and imagination and help them to identify and manage their emotions. I am excited to partner with Chick-Fil-A because I think it is a wonderful opportunity to bring these fun and engaging stories to children across the country.”
Recently, Alber signed a toy deal with TOMY International to develop a range of branded SEL-focused products. These products will include plush toys, with and without added features, and technology and plastic figures based on “A Little SPOT” book series. The toys will debut at retail in 2023. Additionally, multiple titles of Alber’s “Never Let a Unicorn” series were licensed to Scholastic Book Clubs and Fairs.
