ZAG HEROEZ’ Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug and Cat Noir’ Celebrated Across Latin America

Miraculous Day celebration to be supported on-air and at over 500 retail locations.

ZAG is celebrating its hit flagship brand, Miraculous, across Latin America with its second pan-regional Miraculous Day promotion on Aug. 8. 

This year’s celebration marks the second regionwide Miraculous Day initiative, which first launched in Brazil in 2019 in partnership with Gloob. Activities for this year include on-air screenings and programming stunts for “Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug and Cat Noir,” multiple influencer and social media campaigns, e-commerce activities and retail promotions at over 500 outlets with Miraculous character meet and greets at shopping malls and amusement parks.  

“We have had such an enthusiastic response to our Miraculous Day campaigns from broadcast and retail partners alike, all excited to create fun and memorable events for our fans,” says Angela Cortez, vice president, licensing, Latin America and Canada. “We gather momentum each year, and this will be our biggest celebration to date.” 

Over 60 Brazilian retailers will participate in the promotion and feature vibrant point-of-sale materials, including window displays, gondolas and shelf-wobblers. Retail partners include Magic Balloon, Blanc, Brinkel, Toyland, Estripulia, ToyBoy and Cia Toy. The São Caetano shopping mall in Sao Paulo will feature a month-long promotion that will include a circuit challenge in which children must cross a maze to enter the city of Paris to help the heroes, and on Miraculous Day, the superheroes Ladybug and Cat Noir will be on hand for photos. 

As part of the promotion across the Latin America region, Disney Channel and Disney+ have scheduled a series of programming stunts and will include a banner on the Disney+ platform.
