WildBrain Secures Distribution Deals for ‘Malory Towers’

Multiple countries will broadcast the series.

WildBrain has secured its first wave of international sales for season one of “Malory Towers,” a new live-action series based on Enid Blyton’s book series.

The series has been picked up by broadcasters and streamers including:

  • BYUtv (U.S.)

  • CBC’s streaming service CBC Gem (Canada)

  • ABC (Australia)

  • ZDF (Germany)

  • DR (Denmark)

  • YLE (Finland)

  • SVT (Sweden)

  • NRK (Norway)

  • Toonix

  • HBO (Nordics & CEE)

  • Hot (Israel)

“BYUtv’s mission is to share the very best programming out there for young people and their parents to watch together,” says Michael Dunn, managing director, BYUtv. “’Malory Towers’ checks all the boxes of what we’re looking for: vibrant, audacious and inspiring. I’m certain our viewers will warmly embrace the timeless escapades of Darrell Rivers and her classmates.”

All episodes of “Malory Towers” will be available to stream on the free CBC Gem streaming service in Canada beginning Aug. 28.
