Insight Editions will publish “Unleashing Oppenheimer: Inside Christopher Nolan’s Explosive Atomic-Age Thriller,” an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at the film.

“Unleashing Oppenheimer” traces the creation of Nolan’s latest film from script to screen through exclusive interviews with the director and his cast and crew, plus visuals from the film, including on-set photos, concept art, research materials and storyboards. The book includes an all-access account of the film’s creation with interviews with key players, including Christopher Nolan.

Jada Yuan of the Washington Post’s features desk wrote the book. Yuan is connected to the film’s history, as she comes from a long line of nuclear physicists and her father, Vincent Yuan, still works at Los Alamos National Laboratory. Her grandmother, Chien-Shiung Wu, was a student of Oppenheimer’s and worked on the Manhattan Project from Columbia University. In 2021, Dr. Wu was featured on a U.S. Forever Stamp for her pioneering work in nuclear physics.

The book launches in October.
