Memento Exclusives, the U.K.-based sports memorabilia specialist, is joining forces with Smartech, the experience-led concept retailer, to bring a new ‘The Track’ installation to the London department store Selfridges. The display will feature one of Memento Exclusives’ Official Oracle Red Bull Racing RB18 Show Car Simulators, among other memorabilia items.

The Simulator was launched earlier in 2023 in partnership with Oracle Red Bull Racing and recreates the 2022 Championship-winning RB18 race car driven by two-time World Champion, Max Verstappen and Sergio Pérez. It is available in two editions – Champions Edition and Race Edition – with the former featuring a full front wing. Customers also have a choice of Verstappen or Pérez livery.

“The Track” is designed to create an immersive experience for fans, collectors and the uninitiated, to discover the world of F1, blending unique digital and physical experiences. It has been developed as part of Smartech Retail Group’s strategy to innovate its stores as customers seek more personalized and interactive retail offerings.

The installation is expected to be open for the next two months.

“We worked with Smartech in 2022 to bring one of our incredible Show Cars to Selfridges for a show-stopping installation, and we are delighted to be returning to the popular department store with one of our Simulators – which has already taken 2023 by storm,” says Barry Gough, founder, chief executive officer, Memento Exclusives and F1 Authentics. “To be able to showcase this exceptional product in one of the world’s most well-known stores is incredible, and we can’t wait for customers to get to see it up close.”
