G Mason Group Partners with Banana Boat Sunscreen to Launch Gear and Suncare Products for Pets

The products will hit shelves in summer 2022.

Edgewell Personal Care, a consumer products company and owner of Banana Boat sunscreen, announced that it has selected G Mason Group to develop and market a line of sun care and outdoor gear for dogs and other pets.  

“Banana Boat sunscreen is all about helping families get outdoors and protecting the fun,” says Christina Saikus, senior brand manager, Banana Boat. “And since pets are part of the family, Banana Boat sunscreen wants to protect them too. G Mason Group showed a lot of passion for our brand mission and had a vision for bringing our brand values to a new consumer space.” 

The licensed product line will be available at retailers in summer 2022 and will feature sunscreen, paw and nose balm, after-sun mist, apparel, rash guards, harnesses, collars, cooling mats/beds, outdoor accessories and toys.  

“Increasingly, people are realizing how important it is to protect your pets and keep them hydrated in the sun,” says Gregory Jemal, president, G Mason Group. “We want our line to provide

everything pet owners will need to have fun with their pets outdoors. We truly believe that our quality products and the trusted Banana Boat name will be win-win for consumers and retailers.” 

The partnership was brokered by Brandgenuity, Edgewell’s exclusive licensing agency.
