Turner Asia Adds New Country Manager for Philippines

Turner Asia Pacific has appointed Jia Salindong-Du to the position of country manager, Philippines.

In her new position, Salindong-Du will work to scale Turner’s business in the Philippines by creating greater consumer experiences, expanding the brand’s fan base and developing local content opportunities. In addition, she will support the company’s ad sales team and work closely with the consumer products and licensing team for Cartoon Network. She will also oversee the channel distribution of Turner brands locally including CNN International, Cartoon Network, Boomerang and Warner TV.

Most recently Salindong-Du served as the country marketing manager of beauty care in the Philippines for Proctor and Gamble, where she worked to launch and grown brands including Olay, Rejoice and Safeguard.

“Jia has worked in a number of brand management and business development roles, and she will be an excellent leader for our highly-ambitious team in Manila. The Philippines is one of our most important markets in Southeast Asia and, with Jia now in place, we are confident of continued growth there,” says Vishal Dembla, general manager, Turner’s business in Southeast Asia.
