'Thomas' Goes Public with NHK Japan

HIT Entertainment has announced a deal that will see the new CGI TV series “Thomas & Friends” air on Japanese television. As part of the multi-year agreement, “Thomas & Friends” will air weekly on public broadcaster NHK’s children’s entertainment block starting this month. All programming will be broadcast in Japanese. Content will include all of the new CGI-animated series, as well as the hour-long "Thomas & Friends” specials.
