Imira Brings Asian Animation to Iberia

Spain's Imira Entertainment has signed its first third-party representation deal with Sunwoo Entertainment, based in South Korea, to represent all rights to Mix Master Final Force in Iberia.

The 2-D/3-D animated "Mix Master Final Force" (39x22) is aimed at boys ages 6 to 11 and airs in Korea on KBS, Cartoon Network Korea and JEI.

"This is a significant deal for us as we're focused on expanding our third-party acquisitions to new markets," says Christophe Goldberger, head of distribution and marketing at Imira Entertainment. "Asia has always been a key territory for us in terms of broadcast sales, but we've also been keen to forge new partnerships to bring Asian animation into Europe. This is a fantastic boys action series with strong potential for broadcast and consumer products in Iberia."
