The new line was launched April 24-26 at the Kitchen & Bath Industry show in New Orleans, La. Many of Electrolux’s brands, which include Frigidaire, Eureka, Tappan and Kelvinator, have been in the licensing arena for decades outside North America; however, the agreement with Artisan is Electrolux’s first foray into brand licensing in North America.

“We’ve been active in Europe, the Far East and Middle East,” says Matt Young, head of global brand licensing, Electrolux. “But in the field of corporate brands, this business model is not commonly found in the U.S., Canada or Mexico, so we’re very excited about the possibilities.”
