Building on the success of the inaugural NYC Licensing Summit last March, License Global has announced the first speakers and sponsors for the second annual event, March 2-3, 2017.
The first speakers signed on for the 2017 NYC Summit include executives from two of the largest and most influential companies in global licensing:
Ken Wyse, president of licensing at PVH Corp., the world’s third largest licensor
Perry Wolfman, president of CAA–GBG, the world’s largest licensing agency
One of the industry’s premiere licensees, Concept One Accessories, headed by chief executive officer Sam Hafif, has returned as the Platinum Sponsor for the 2017 event. Three other leading companies are supporting the event as Silver Sponsors: Fadel, Uware Brands and Octane5.
Additional sponsorships are still available. Click here for more details.
The exclusive networking event, which attracted almost 400 licensing industry executives and featured 20 notable speakers earlier this year, will again focus on the business of brand licensing with a high-profile roster of speakers across fashion, entertainment, sports and corporate brands. Topics will range from global business opportunities and the changing world of entertainment to the influence of celebrity licensing and sports licensing to new fashion trends and the growth of location-based entertainment, what’s hot at retail and what Wall Street thinks about it all. The event will take place at the New York Marriott Marquis in Times Square.
“The overwhelming response and success of the first ever NYC Summit will undoubtedly carry over to the 2017 event,” says Tony Lisanti, global editorial director, License Global, and moderator of the NYC Summit. “It will once again be a must-attend event for licensing executives and retailers who want to meet industry insiders and who want to know the latest trends and insights that will drive new business opportunities in 2017 and beyond.”
