Flo Rida Brings Down the Beach

International recording artist Flo Rida made waves as co-host of the Licensing Expo Opening Night Party.

More than 2,000 people attended the party, which was held at the Mandalay Beach Club on the evening of June 18.

The sold-out event was presented by Advanstar Licensing June 18 in association with Sony Pictures Entertainment and the International Licensing Merchandisers’ Association.

Guests sported Smurfs caps and sipped blue, Smurfs-themed cocktails served by wait staff decked out in Loudmouth Golf’s colorful board shorts as Flo Rida’s official DJ, DJ Kronik played throughout the event.

The evening was capped off by a performance by Flo Rida himself, who first presented several new artists who have joined his label.

“More networking opportunities is the No. 1 request we hear from attendees and exhibitors at Licensing Expo, so we partnered with LIMA to combine the two smaller events we both typically do into one big opening night networking party for the entire industry,” say Chris DeMoulin, president, Advanstar Licensing.
