Nickelodeon has signed to bring Random House’s first book-to-screen TV series “Wanda and the Alien” to Nickelodeon internationally.

Nickelodeon has signed to bring Random House’s first book-to-screen TV series “Wanda and the Alien” to more than 70 Nickelodeon and Nick Jr. channels internationally (excluding the U.S.).

The deal was negotiated by kids content distributor Cake.

The enchanting preschool series will begin airing on Nickelodeon’s international channels in late 2014.

Co-produced by Random House Children’s Screen Entertainment and Komixx Entertainment, the 52 x 10 animated series will debut in the U.K. on Channel 5’s Milkshake! this fall.
