Uniqlo will be launching its first kurta collection with New Delhi-based designer Rina Singh in the U.S.

The new release, dubbed KURTA draws on the color palette of Amrita Sher-Gil, featuring hand-painted botanical motifs as a tribute to the Hungarian-Indian painter. The SS20 line aims to celebrate the everyday wear of women from all over India and to embody the LifeWear concept of simple and high-quality clothing that makes life better.

The collection comes in a full range of women’s sizing, priced from $14.90 to $59.90 and will launch on uniqlo.com on June 4 with stores to follow.
