IMG, Collectable Announce The MINT Collective

The three-day event will take place January 28-30, 2022, in Las Vegas at UFC APEX and MGM Grand Hotel and Casino.

IMG and Collectable, an investing platform for sports collectibles, has announced The Mint Collective, a three-day event uniting sports collectibles and memorabilia collectors, professionals, and investors from around the world.

The MINT Collective will feature a speaker series with topics including the difference between collections and portfolios, NFTs and the emergence of modern collecting, social media and modern investment strategy, navigating online marketplaces, the evolution of the modern collectibles auction, the future of authentication and grading, venture capital and private equity for collectibles and more.

Confirmed speakers are Dana White, president, UFC, who will be providing insight into the sports organization's trading card, NFT and consumer product programs, and Josh Luber, entrepreneur and co-founder, StockX. 

"The sports memorabilia and collectibles market is booming and we're excited to announce The MINT Collective, which aims to provide forward-thinking new experiences, insights and opportunities for collectors, professionals and investors to help drive this growth," says Blake Ulrich, vice president, business operations, events, IMG. "We're pleased to be working with our partners at Collectable and to confirm two major industry names, Josh and Dana, as our first speakers."

The event will also host a marketplace where vendors can display and sell their inventory, including vintage and modern trading cards, autographs and limited-edition equipment, as well as a Collector's Carnival where consumers can get up close with the latest and most rare memorabilia, participate in live auctions and sports gaming exhibitions, score exclusive product drops.
