Warner Bros. Discovery Global Consumer Products Announces ‘Shark Week’ 2023 Collection

New and returning products celebrate the popular summer series.

Warner Bros. Discovery Global Consumer Products has announced a lineup of new and returning merchandise to celebrate “Shark Week” 2023, airing Sunday, July 23 to Saturday, July 29 on Discovery Channel and will also be available to stream on Max. Reaching a milestone 35th year, “Shark Week” is television’s longest-running and one of the most anticipated summer events. This year’s assortment of products features curated products from apparel and accessories to toys, collectibles, home goods and publishing.  

Highlights of the “Shark Week” 2023 merchandise collection include: 

Apparel and Accessories: Nautica returns for a second year with a limited-edition “Shark Week” capsule featuring sustainably crafted polos, T-shirts, rash guards and swim shorts, available online at Nautica and Macy’s and in select stores. Also returning is artisan jewelry brand, Pura Vida, with more than 15 new pieces of jewelry and apparel designed to inspire adventure with signature combinations of ocean hues and mixed materials, available at PuravidaBracelets.com as well as major retailers and independently owned surf shops. Hawaiian retailer, Crazy Shirts, is back with an exclusive line of  licensed apparel featuring original art, available online and at the brand’s retail stores, catalog and Crazyshirts.com. Freestyle returns with limited-edition Shark watches and Shark clip straps compatible with Apple watches, available at FreestyleUSA.com. Rugged Shark has a water-friendly footwear collection featuring six new shark-inspired styles for men, women and kids, exclusively available at Walmart stores nationwide. And Knockaround Sunglasses returns for its ninth year with a release of its 2023 shark-themed sunglasses featuring an ocean blue front frame exterior, soft sunset pink frame interior and a great white shark on each arm.  

Toys and Games: The Op – Usaopoly has shark-inspired games, including MONOPOLY: Predators of the Deep Edition, a shark-lovers’ edition of the classic family game and “Shark Week” “Shiver of Sharks,” a 1000-piece shark jigsaw puzzle. The Build-A-Bear Shark Week collection features a Great White Shark and Leopard Shark which fans can personalize ocean furry friends with outfits and accessories, available in stores and online.

Home Goods and Collectibles: Offerings include a hand-painted Great White Shark from Enesco, featuring Jim Shore’s intricate styling. Sand Cloud has a new collection of limited-edition “Shark Week” towels launching on July 17. Fans can find an assortment of shark-themed party supplies, crafts, activities and more from Oriental Trading.  

Publishing: Dotdash Meredith is back on board for a shark-themed bookazine, “The Ultimate Book of Sharks,” designed and geared for “Shark Week” fans. Silver Dolphin also returns with its existing collection of books to provide children with educational shark adventures, with new additions in 2024.

Kicking off Sunday, July 23, “Shark Week” will feature a week-long extravaganza of thrilling shark-themed programming and special events hosted by celebrity, Jason Momoa. Each night, Momoa will introduce the stories and discoveries while emphasizing his passion for protecting and preserving oceans.
