MarcoPolo Learning, a mobile-based childhood education company, has raised $8.5 million in Series A funding, which will be used for expanding the company’s suite of early childhood apps as well as producing animated long-form video content with Boat Rocker Media.
In addition to the funding, both companies have formed an exclusive strategic production and distribution partnership, which will see collaboration on original animated TV and digital series.
Additional details are expected in the near future; however, every video will feature MarcoPolo’s iconic cast of characters, who already appear in the company’s apps.
