9 Story Entertainment has sold four of its key properties to the German kids’ channel Super RTL–the animated comedy “Numb Chucks” (52 x 11), the preschool series “Peg + Cat” (40 x 12), season two of “Daniel Tiger’s Neighbourhood” (50 x 11) and season three of “Wild Kratts” (26 x 22).

Super RTL already airs all three seasons of 9 Story’s animated series “Almost Naked Animals” (52 x 22), the first seasons of “Camp Lakebottom” (26 x 22) and “Daniel Tiger’s Neighbourhood” (80 x 11) and the first two seasons of “Wild Kratts” (66 x 22).

“We are more than happy to not only add new seasons of already well-known and popular series like ‘Wild Kratts’ and ‘Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood’ to our schedule, but also to introduce new series like ‘Peg + Cat’ and ‘Numb Chucks,’” says Carsten Göttel, program director, Super RTL. “We are sure that ‘Pet + Cat,’ with its fun and adorable characters, will be embraced by preschool kids and their parents whereas the well-meaning kung fu-crazed characters from ‘Numb Chucks’ will crack kids up in the afternoon.”
