Melody Street has launched Mozart Interactive, an app for kids based on characters from its website where musical instruments come to life through whimsical animated characters. The app will be available this month for download in the App Store.

The app allows viewers to become “conductors” of the story they’re watching by choosing from three different characters and four different sections of the piece. Kids can create a total of 81 unique videos to save and share.

Mozart Interactive was created by Los Angeles-based Melody Street and Interlude, based in New York and Israel.

“We are delighted to announce the debut of ‘Mozart Interactive,’ the first-ever interactive, animated music video for kids,” says Gilad Benamram, co-founder and managing partner, Melody Street.  “With this new technology, kids will be able to orchestrate one of Mozart’s most famous pieces by choosing which character instrument they would like to join the music and create a unique version every time they play it.”
