Looney Tunes and Hanna-Barbera characters are being decked out in an exclusivehigh-end apparel line this month from Bejeweled by Susan Fixel. Warner Bros.Consumer Products is collaborating with the company on ?Toon Couture,? alimited-edition line of Swarovski crystal-embellished Ts, tanks, jackets, andsweatpants featuring characters such as Tweety, Bugs Bunny, Lola Bunny, Pepe LePew, Daffy Duck, Boo Boo Bear, and Pebbles.
In other WBCP news, the company awarded Thinkway Toys the global master toylicense for upcoming theatrical release Happy Feet from Warner Bros. Picturesand Village Roadshow Pictures, scheduled to hit theaters nationwide in November2006. Thinkway Toys will manufacture, market, and sell a full line of toysinspired by the comedy/adventure film, including the lead item, an interactivesinging and dancing plush, as well as tap-dancing penguin feet, dance mats,karaoke microphone, collectible figures, playsets, and role-play toys. Theseitems are set to hit retail stores worldwide beginning in fall 2006.

Scholastic Media Taps Into Audio Market
Scholastic Media is getting into the audio market with its new Scholastic AudioGroup. Four read-along titles and two middle grade audiobooks will head toretail, as well as to the company?s library and proprietary channels thissummer. The company also plans to distribute its audio content on deliverysystems such as online downloads and handheld MP3 players. Twenty titles areplanned for release in the first year and will be available digitally online.

MGA Is Master Licensee for Shrek
DreamWorks Animation SKG named MGA Entertainment, Inc., master toy and gameslicensee for the Shrek entertainment franchise.
