Game developer to open 10,000-square-foot attraction in Malaysia.

Ubisoft is developing a next-generation theme park in Malaysia that will feature its portfolio of world-renowned gaming brands.

The project is being led by Ubisoft Motion Pictures in partnership with RSG, co-owner and co-developer of Movie Animation Park Studios.

This is not the game developers first foray into live experiences, having developed the Rabbids Dark Ride at French park Futuroscope, but it will be the first time a park has been created solely for Ubisoft brands.

The planned 10,000-square-meter park will be located in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, will feature rides, attractions and shows inspired by some of Ubisoft’s biggest franchises such as "Assassin’s Creed," "Just Dance^" and "Rabbids." The park is slated to open in 2020.
