The Texas Lottery has launched a new Tetris-themed scratch-off game as the classic video game celebrates its 30th anniversary.

The scratch-off game offers more than $11.5 million in prizes, and players who do not win instantly can enter four second-chance drawings that will each award 200 merchandise prize packages. The second-chance prize packages include a Tetris rolling suitcase, messenger bag, light, heat-sensing mug, baseball cap, watch and unisex bathrobe.

“The Tetris brand is one of the most widely recognized video game brands and global franchises of all time,” says Gary Grief, executive director, Texas Lottery. “We are pleased to be associated with this iconic brand, and we anticipate that the Tetris scratch-off game will be successful in supporting our mission to generate revenue for Texas public education.”

In conjunction with launch of the game, Texas Lottery Instagram followers will also have the chance to win Texas Lottery and Tetris merchandize prize packages by correctly answering trivia questions.
