Team 17 has released a new line of figures based on its video game franchise, Worms, in a deal brokered by licensing agent AT New Media.

The new Worms range, produced by First 4 Figures, features vinyl figures and resin statues of the homicidal invertebrates. The launch is supported by an online video that went live Wednesday, the same day the figures were released.

Other recent licensing partnerships for the brand include IGS for collectible plush and plush keyrings, Fashion UK for apparel, Bioworld for apparel and accessories, and GB Posters.

The first Worms game was introduced in 1995, and has many incarnations since, the most recent being the “Worms 2: Armageddon.”
