Consumers who download the update will be able to access 40 new skins to transform the game’s characters into heroes like Mario, Luigi and Peach, a “Super Mario”-themed pre-made world, themed music and item textures to allow players to create their own themed locations.

The “Super Mario”-themed game update will be available for “Minecraft: Wii U Edition” on May 17. When the retail version of “Minecraft: Wii U Edition” launches on June 17, the “Super Mario” update will be included on the disc.
