Psyonix and Netflix have joined forces for a "Rocket League" in-game event inspired by the series "Stranger Things."

The event comes in the form of a new game arena called the Farmstead that is inspired by the show's Upside-Down universe. Players will be tasked with making it out of the arena for a chance to win points that can be used to purchase exclusive "Stranger Things" gear. The limited-edition collaboration will run from Oct. 14 to Nov. 11 to align with the Halloween season.

The "Rocket League" event follows on other collaborations with brands including Hot Wheels. Mattel partnered with Psyonix late last year for a co-branded version of "Rocket League" based on the classic diecast race car toys.

The event adds to the growing list of "Stranger Things" licensing and collaborations. In the lead up to the premiere of season three of the show, Netflix partnered with brands including Mongoose, Levi and "Fortnite."
