Sony, THQ to Release Wheel of Fortune, Jeopardy! Games

THQ is developing exclusive Wii and Nintendo DS games based on TV game shows “Wheel of Fortune” and “Jeopardy!” The games are the first to be released under THQ’s multi-year deal with Sony Pictures Consumer Products.

Both games will be out this fall, and will feature the voice of show hosts Pat Sajak, Vanna White and Alex Trebek.

“We’re excited to partner with THQ to bring the Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy! properties to new platforms,” says Mark Caplan, vice president of licensing for Sony Pictures Consumer Products. “Both video games include features and interactive experiences that will let players feel like true show contestants.”
